Addresses to be noted on Articles
The postman should note the name of the addressee on articles made over to him for delivery, in every case, in which he cannot himself read the language in which the address is written." A postman should be careful not to receive articles addressed to persons residing in another postman's beat except in the case of an article given to him from deposit for the purpose of enquiry, and in this case it should be separately noted in this book. The transfer of articles, especially or articles brought back undelivered, from one postman to another, without the permission of the delivery Assistant is strictly prohibited.
- डाकिए को प्रत्येक दशा मे सौंपे हुए वितरण हेतु आर्टिक्ल के ऊपर पाने वाले का नाम अपनी भाषा मे लिख लेना चाहिए क्योकि हो सकता है कि आर्टिक्ल मे दिए हुए address की भाषा पोस्टमान पढ़ न पाए।
- डाकिए को यह भी ध्यान मे रखना चाहिए कि खुद को सौंपे हुए आर्टिक्ल पर पता किसी ऐसे व्यक्ति का न हो जो कि दूसरे पोस्टमान के अधिकार क्षेत्र मे आता हो।
- दूसरे पोस्टमान के अधिकार क्षेत्र मे आने वाली एसी डाक जिसको डिपॉज़िट हेतु डाकघर मे रखा गया है उसकी पूछताछ करना भी डाकिए का काम हो सकता है।
- बिना वितरण सहायक की अनुमति के किसी भी डाक को जो अवितरित हो उसको एक पोस्टमैन से दूसरे पोस्टमैन को ट्रान्सफर नहीं कर सकते है ऐसा करना सख्त मनाही है।
